Hand dryer stroke rehab

Research suggests more early sensation therapy is good for recovery. A simple solution here. Install a couple of jet engine air blast hand dryers in the therapy room. Dip your paretic hand in water and hold it under the air stream with no help from your good hand. Or use your good hand to grab your affected thumb and turn the palm upright and hold that under the air stream. You may need to get even more powerful models, the ones I used this weekend did not have enough power to overcome the spasticity in my fingers and straighten out my fingers.  An easily implementable idea that you can be a hero by suggesting it to your therapists. I love these and would stand for extra minutes getting more therapy after each bathroom break.
