Dinner Meeting w/Special Speaker

Its me, run, run, run away.

Hello everyone,
Mark your calendar for the upcoming Dinner Meeting to be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2013.  In keeping with the “Humanist” component of our organization, we feature educational programs at our monthly Dinner Meetings that cover a broad range of topics of interest to the membership.
This month’s featured speaker is MMAH member Dean Reinke who will be presenting on the neuroplasticity of the brain.  The title of his talk is Cognitive Reserve: what it is and why you should have some.
Dean’s Profile:
Dean moved to Lansing from Minnesota one year ago.  His background is in computer programming which requires mental clarity and focus.  Dean survived a major health event 7 years ago which compromised his cognitive reserve, and he is working on rebuilding it to prevent his likely descent into dementia.  To gain greater knowledge of his health problem, Dean thoroughly researched the subject, and has written extensively on it.  According to Blog Nation, Dean’s blog on the subject is the most popular among the medical blogs they cover.
Dinner and Socializing will be from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM.
Presentation will start at 6:30 PM.
