Just one in three US patients has control of BP and cholesterol

Stuff like this just puts the medical world back into their press release and Occams'  razor mode.  If only the blinking public would take care of their health they wouldn't have so many strokes.  We have to fight that lazy way of thinking because you go to war against stroke with the facts you have on the ground. That means, when strokes occur you have to treat them as fast as possible.
1. With objective diagnosis
2. With hyperacute therapies that stop the neuronal cascade of death.
With no survivors in charge we get the lazy press release medical treatment.

One paragraph proving my point, rest at link.
Less than one in three patients in the US have their blood-pressure and cholesterol levels under control, according to a new analysis of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys (NHANES) [1]. Researchers say there exist significant opportunities for reaching national coronary heart disease prevention goals by improving hypertension and cholesterol control.
