I will run again. I keep rereading Teaching Me to Run by Tommye-K. Mayer.

  1. Dean, thank you so much for posting this. The more I read about people who have recovered, the more I am convinced that the aggressive pursuit of mobility is the key. Increase mobility, increase BDNF. I have been in touch with a survivor in CA who walks 10 miles a day and is trsining to walk a marathon. I was never a runner (my ballet teachers thought running was the devil's work) but I would love to walk the NYC Marathon someday. Are you running at all yet?

    1. No running yet, I'll probably try the slight downhill slope path. Downhill running would force you to get your feet in front of you or you fall. It will need to be some grassy field.
