New Therapy for MS on Horizon?

A question for your doctor. Do you need a therapy like this? Did your neurons demyelinate as a result of your stroke?  It's a damn simple question, how come your doctor doesn't know the answer? Are they trained at all?

New Therapy for MS on Horizon?

Stimulating dendritic cells with interferon-gamma caused them to release exosomes that promoted neuronal myelination in vitro and in live rats, offering a potential therapy for advanced multiple sclerosis, a researcher said here.
In the key experiment, intranasal administration of the exosomes to rats boosted fluoromyelin staining intensity, a measure of myelin content in nerve tissue, by about 50-fold (P<0.001) after 3 days compared with animals treated with a placebo nasal spray, said Richard Kraig, MD, PhD, of the University of Chicago.
