Dear Doctor, I want to have a stroke. How do I accomplish that?

Research has proven that mentally challenging tasks can delay or prevent dementia/Alzheimers. So ask your doctor to be a guinea pig in that experiment.

Keeping mentally active, working or reading
Working as a doctor post stroke would be interesting, researching your 100% recovery with no doctor or stroke association help will be mentally challenging. Reading all those research papers, including those Danish, Iranian and Polish ones in their original language. Then your doctor can write a paper explaining how damned easy it is to recover from a stroke and hand deliver it to all the neurologists in your country.  Then and only then, maybe the know-it-all doctors will finally realize they are the original naked emperor.
