Is there any hope for 100% recovery for any survivor?

Slim to none. It almost surely  is based upon the size and location, Your doctor and therapists will have no idea if you are in that 10%. And almost nothing they do will get you there. You are the only person who can get you to full recovery.
Statistics from 2009 from the ASA suggest only 10% get there. There seems to be no data collection or database of survivors or recovery protocols.
If you follow the F.A.S.T. guidelines and get to a stroke hospital quickly enough to get tPA, that barely improves your possibility of recovery. Only 12% efficacy. And it improves your recovery chances by 33%. That is failure on a grand scale.
But for my personal story, I'm probably alive today because I got tPA within 90 minutes. Continuing down this route is stupidity personified. All the press releases aside, they are lying by omission by implying that all you have to do is get to a stroke hospital in 3-4.5 hours and all will be well. This story about the older lady having a stroke at a BBQ and not recognizing it are symptomatic of the lies being told about stroke recovery.
