LSU Health Shreveport establishes new center - strokes, heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases

The first thing you ask them, How are you going to get all stroke patients to 100% recovery? Do not back down, their answer will tell you if they have any initiative and innovation at all. They know less than you do about stroke recovery.
Serious questions for them to answer:
1. What are you doing to stop the neuronal cascade of death in the first week? Use this as a starting point;
What I am going to insist I get after my next stroke

2. What are your stroke recovery protocols like/based upon?
3.  How many of your patients get to 100% recovery?
4. How many die in the first 30 days? Compared to the US average?

I don't understand why they would consider working with the American Stroke Association useful. They have nothing that visibly shows the protocols necessary for recovery.
