What will it take for marijuana/cannabis/weed/mj to be recognized and provided as a therapy for stroke?

Why won't your doctor prescribe this? Demand an answer. How many research studies will be needed and how many survivors will need to continue to be disabled until this becomes available?  Do no harm is a doctor mantra. Inaction on this is doing harm.

Ask your senator and representative this exact question and don't accept their crap about it leading to hard drugs.  Wait until they are the 1 in 6 that have a stroke and are whining about the lack of therapies.
Medical marijuana is NOT the answer,  the states are way behind the times in conditions that can use marijuana. Michigan is one of the stupidest states for this, you have to grow your own. It would take months to get your seeds from the Netherlands, grow and dry it. You would need to know in advance you were having a stroke so you could prepare.
