Free Lunch and Learn on stroke to be held in Waverly Ohio

You will need to go and specifically ask about these 11 prevention ideas. And if they are doing anything to stop the neuronal cascade of death. If they don't even know about the cascade of death you need to ask why they are so ignorant. They are killing your neurons thru acts of omission.
We have to hold the stroke medical community feet to the fire because nothing else is working. Screaming at them might get their attention. Try for civil disobedience and an arrest.

Dr. Michael Jones, Neurologist at Adena Health System, will discuss stroke awareness at a free, community lunch and learn being held on Wednesday, Mar. 19 at the Pike County YMCA, located at 400 Pride Drive, Waverly.
The event will begin with lunch being served at 11:30 a.m., with Dr. Jones’ presentation beginning at Noon. A question and answer session will follow.

Dr. Jones will discuss topics related to stroke, such as prevention, recovery, rehabilitation, and warning signs. He will detail the FAST acronym, a cue to help detect when a person may be having a stroke, and how to enhance responsiveness. FAST stands for Facial drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulties and Time. The longer a stroke goes untreated, the greater the risk for permanent disability or death.
Dr. Jones will also share details about how the team at Adena Regional Medical Center, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, has established a protocol that helps provide the best results for patients. Adena’s Stroke Team includes neurologists, emergency physicians, nurses, social workers, a hospitalist, pharmacy staff, radiology and lab technicians, and rehabilitation experts.
