Green Up Your Diet from the National Stroke Association

What a load of undocumented crap. Absolutely no references.
I point directly to the references for these 11 prevention ideas.

By adding healthy fruits, vegetables and drink options in your diet, you can improve overall health and decrease your risk of stroke. According to multiple studies, individuals who consumed five or more servings of fruits and vegetables a day reduced their risk of stroke by 30 percent.
These foods had the highest impact on reducing risk of stroke:
  • Broccoli
  • Cabbage
  • Cauliflower
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Green Leafy Vegetables such as Spinach or Kale
  • Pear
  • Apple
  • Green Tea
Why would you trust crap like that  just because they imply they are a stroke association? They have to earn your trust and they are in a pretty deep hole.
I would list the references and the amounts needed for reduction. These statements from the NSA are totally worthless. And they don't even list bananas or marijuana buds.
