 This is part of the reason why it is so f*cking stupid to put all the effort into tPA, even though tPA has only a 12% efficacy.  Why not try these 31 hyperacute possibilities?  They don't require a massive medical infrastructure.

In other words don't have a stroke outside of these coverage areas or you're screwed. You're screwed anyway with   12% tPA efficacy
and the fact that only 10% of survivors get to full recovery.
