The American Brain Foundation (ABF) is seeking candidates for its national Board of Directors who share a commitment to its mission and vision of curing brain disease. The Board will strategically position the ABF for major growth through fundraising to underwrite cutting-edge medical research to cure brain disease. The ABF benefits from its close relationship with the American Academy of Neurology and its 28,000 members. Candidates need not have medical expertise. At this time we are seeking individuals with significant experience on governing boards, and who are willing to contribute financially to the ABF, while working with staff to leverage donations from high-wealth individuals and institutions. The American Brain Foundation is a national organization committed to promoting human potential by curing brain disease. The ABF funds research to develop new treatments and find cures by identifying and supporting the most impactful research; recognizing breakthroughs in one brain disease may lead to breakthroughs in another.
