I have gotten most of the way, the divorce is agreed to, finalization in the next couple of months. It was never a possibility to get back together. I could never get over the numerous statements that it would have been better if she had let me die on the bedroom floor. I was told that my decision to divorce was arbitrary and capricious. Congratulations!!! My divorce was one of the best things that I ever did for myself, my future, and my happiness. It was difficult at the time, but opened the door to a much better life...and an upgraded husband. I couldn't imagine going through all this brain stuff with my first husband....he couldn't even handle life when things were easy. Good luck on completing the next steps. It's a liberating process. I felt like a ton of bricks was unloaded when it was all finally over.
ReplyDeleteI could never have gotten over that either, absolutely not, hell no. No matter what the situation saying something like that is NOT ok. You're SO much better off. I'm better off too without my ex.
