'There is no clinical research for any neuroprotective treatment in the first week'

If you get this from your stroke doctor, therapists or hospitals it is technically true. The worst truth about that answer is that the person or institution saying is totally uniformed on research showing just that possiblility in animals. I got this from doctors at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI. If it is a possibility I want to make the decision whether or not to use it. Get out of the fucking way you idiot stroke medical professionals while I throw the kitchen sink at recovering. Stand in the way and I'll run you over.
Like this:
My 31 ideas on hyperacute therapy I'm going to insist my doctor give me during the first week.
Or these needing a lot more research:
These 177 hyperacute therapies that need more research.
Wrong term besides, neuroprotection doesn't give any sense of urgency. The neuronal cascade of death sounds critical so never use neuroprotection as a term.
