Deans' stroke musings

Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain!Just think of all the trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 493 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.
My back ground story is here:

Performance Health partners with the National Stroke Association

Great conscious laundering for these people without doing one useful thing for stroke survivors. Absolutely nothing here gets any survivor closer to 100% recovery.
THAT IS THE ONLY DAMN FUCKING GOAL FOR STROKE!!! Not care, not awareness, not guidelines; RESULTS!

With over 7 million stroke survivors in the U.S. alone, as well as stroke being the second leading cause of disability worldwide, our team at Performance Health knows that stroke has a significant impact on all of our communities. We partner with rehabilitation clinics all over the U.S. by providing products and solutions for recovery to enable stroke survivors to return to their normal lives.
Performance Health is thrilled to be a proud sponsor of the Comeback Trail Chicago event and we thank you for your participation! Join us on the Comeback Trail Chicago on June 3!

National Stroke Association provides educational information about treatments for post-stroke issues through real-life stories. Promotion of these stories does not imply endorsement of any product or service and it is recommended that patients ask a healthcare professional before using any product, medicine, or therapy.
