Speakers
Martin James
Martin James is a Consultant Stroke Physician at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, and an Honorary Clinical Professor at the University of Exeter. His research focuses on operational research for hyperacute stroke, including using machine learning to improve access to thrombolysis.
Niki Chouliara
Niki Chouliara is a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham.Her research focuses on how stroke rehabilitation services are provided in the community so that they offer real benefits for stroke survivors and their families. She specialises in the use of mixed-methods and realist evaluation designs to study the process of implementing evidence into practice.
Myzoon Ali
Myzoon Ali is a Senior Research Fellow at Glasgow Caledonian University. She specialises in the use of big data to answer research questions, standardisation of outcome assessment in stroke clinical trials, establishment and use of international collaborations to coordinate stroke research and optimisation of stroke service delivery for post-stroke aphasia.
