I've been wearing these a lot lately since there is mud and standing water on the trails I walk for my 10,000 daily steps. Normally you would sit down, cross your legs and yank off these boots with both hands. They are fairly tight and I have a high instep making removal even tougher. So I use a boot jack. It mostly works, having to hang onto a railing for dear life to keep from toppling over. Finally determined that the affected left foot needs to be removed first.

Mine is heavy duty plastic, don't think wood would be strong enough. |
