I know I have a tendency to do wild and crazy things. But it makes me feel alive. A Hunter S. Thompson quote for you;
“Life
should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and
loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
Even though he did leave this suicide note; "No
More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More
Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted.
Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun – for anybody. 67. You are getting
Greedy. Act your old age. Relax – This won’t hurt." That's not the way I'm going, it will probably be a wingsuit accident at 94.
The response back to that was, 'Good, we are expecting you to turn out the lights'.
And I am going to have one hell of a lot of fun for the rest of my life. There is already a two week trip to Paris next March.
