My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

STROKE: a new(12 hour) treatment through the lens of the eye

Lets get cracking on human trials, with the pathetic use of tPA lots more therapies are needed. Tell your researcher and the ASA, NSA, WSO about this.

A new study on mice could to better support the AV with a substance effective up to 12 hours after the accident, while for the time being the time of action must be three hours maximum.

A team of stanford university medical center, in California, has just discovered a substance that would be effective up to 12 hours after the stroke. All mice were subjected to an induced stroke. The neurological State of rodents in the first group has proven to be worse than that of the mouse to the second group. Moreover, the authors also found that a complementation in alpha-B-crystalline synthetic could reduce injury due to stroke in rodents that lacked the protein in its natural form.

Every year in France, 130,000 stroke cause the death of 40,000 people and leave patients 30,000 severely and permanently disabled. A large part of the often dramatic consequences of these accidents could be avoided through a more effective support. If in doubt, call the 15 or better still, 112.
