Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

An Experimental Study of the Comfort of Stroke Rehabilitation Gloves Based on ANSYS

Your mentors and senior researchers allowed this appalling crapola research to exist?

Measuring comfort? First you measure results, then you go on to secondary issues like comfort. Is everyone in your research area that blitheringly stupid?

Abstract

In recent years, stroke diseases show a trend of rapid population growth and younger age, and impaired hand function is one of the main manifestations of stroke, and the market demand for rehabilitation gloves has expanded. In order to study the comfort of stroke rehabilitation gloves, the influence of different shapes of finger sleeves of tendon rehabilitation gloves on patient comfort was analyzed by finite element simulation, and guidance was provided for the comfort design of rehabilitation gloves. Combined with the existing research and market products of rehabilitation gloves, the factors affecting the comfort of rehabilitation gloves were analyzed; Using the finite element simulation method, the contact pressure generated between the finger sleeve and the finger of the tendon glove was simulated by static analysis, and five different modeling schemes were established according to the existing finger sleeve form, and the influence of finger sleeve size, shape, wrapping degree and other factors on the comfort of finger pressure was analyzed. Through the analysis and comparison of the finite element simulation results between different finger sleeve schemes and fingers, it is finally concluded that (1) generally soft fabrics have better pressure comfort than exoskeletons finger sleeves, and no matter what form of finger sleeves, longer sizes can reduce the pressure on fingers; (2) Increasing the fit between the exoskeleton finger sleeve and the finger surface can effectively improve the pressure comfort of the finger sleeve, and the hollow feature is easy to cause excessive contact pressure on the finger; (3) The contact pressure between the finger sleeve and the finger is less when the fixed parts are fully covered. This paper uses the finite element simulation analysis method to analyze the pressure comfort of tendon gloves, verifies the application value of the finite element method in product comfort design, and provides effective support for the comfort design and development of tendon rehabilitation gloves.
