Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

A vitamin shortage is found in the majority of stroke victims, according to a new study

Useless, no protocol given on how to assess vitamin deficiency and then no protocol given on how to address such deficiency.  Absolutely nothing here is of any use whatsoever.

A vitamin shortage is found in the majority of stroke victims, according to a new study

A STROKE is a life-threatening medical illness that occurs when part of the brain’s blood supply is cut off. There are various variables that can put you at risk, and one of them is a vitamin deficiency.

The sooner a stroke victim receives care, the less damage is likely to occur. If you or someone you know is having a stroke, dial 999 and request an ambulance right away. In the United Kingdom, there are approximately 1.3 million stroke survivors, and your symptoms will vary depending on which section of your brain was affected and the extent of the damage.

It is critical to maintain a healthy diet because certain foods might be harmful to your health. You should also eat a well-balanced diet to ensure that your body receives all of the nutrients it need.

Indeed, one study presented at the American Academy of Neurology’s annual meeting in 2014 indicated that 59 percent of people who had a haemorrhagic stroke were vitamin C deficient.

People who had not had a stroke and had normal vitamin C levels were compared to those who had not had a stroke and had normal vitamin C levels.

A 2012 study also discovered that persons with lower vitamin D levels had a higher risk of stroke than those with higher levels.

Fears of a new Covid variant: There are two Covid symptoms to look for in fully vaccinated people.

Anxiety, sadness, and excessive stress levels, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), are all risk factors.

“Working long hours and having little contact with friends, family, or those outside the home are also connected to an increased risk of stroke,” it continues.

Other risk factors include bad lifestyle practices such as lack of regular physical activity, alcohol consumption, and the use of illegal drugs such as cocaine.

According to a big genetic study published in The Lancet, even light-to-moderate drinking raises blood pressure and increases the risk of stroke.

According to the Stroke Association, a stroke occurs every five minutes in the United Kingdom.

Stroke is uncommon in people under the age of 40. When it does happen, unusually high blood pressure is frequently the cause.

According to the Mayo Clinic, aerobic activity lowers your risk of stroke in a variety of ways.

Exercise can both drop and raise your blood pressure. “Brinkwire News Summary.”
