1. What percentage of patients get tPA in 3 hours?
2. What percentage of those patients fully recover?
Put those 2 questions in the comments and they will never get published.
Only after answering those questions and comparing them to other hospitals can they make this type of claim.

HOSPITAL services in Northumberland and North Tyneside for people who have suffered a stroke are among the best in the country.
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s
dedicated stroke units at Hexham, Wansbeck and North Tyneside general
hospitals have been rated among the top nationally in a clinical audit.
The trust’s three stroke units provide specialist acute care and rehabilitation, while Berwick and Alnwick infirmaries provide rehabilitation services.
Dr Stuart Huntley, consultant physician and head of the trust’s stroke services, said: “These excellent results show that the services we provide for our patients are among the best in the country and we are delivering a consistently high standard of care at our hospitals.(Who cares? What are your outcomes?)
“They are testament to the hard work and enthusiasm of our teams who are committed to providing high quality, patient-focussed care.
“Care delivered by a specialist team is the single biggest factor that can improve a person’s recovery. We provide acute care and rehabilitation with highly-skilled specialist teams of nurses, doctors and therapists.”
The Stroke Improvement National Audit Programme rates care provided to stroke patients in their first three days in hospital.
