(973) 972-4752 and demand to know what the RESULTS are; 30 day deaths, 100% recovery, tPA efficacy?
There is absolutely nothing in here that tells me that the RESULTS are better in this hospital than other hospitals. I don't give a crap about how well you do processes.
Big f*cking whoopee.
You can check out Joint
Commission standards here:
I saw absolutely
nothing about what should be done the first week or anything about measuring
30-day deaths and 100% recovery. God, these people are worse than
worthless. Complacent good-for-nothings.The puffery article here:

When patients present at the Emergency Department (ED) with stroke symptoms, timely evaluation and treatment are critical. The New Jersey Comprehensive Stroke Center combines streamlined protocols with an experienced team and academic-level research to enhance survival and quality-of-life outcomes.
The New Jersey Comprehensive Stroke Center provides the full spectrum of care(not results?) for stroke patients, as evidenced by its advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, a designation awarded by The Joint Commission in conjunction with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Brain Attack Coalition. Such qualification is The Joint Commission’s highest accreditation and requires a center to exceed clinical requirements for the Disease-Specific Care certification program. In addition to partnering with local emergency management systems (EMS) and following standardized protocols, Comprehensive Stroke Centers such as the New Jersey Comprehensive Stroke Center feature a neuro-intensive care unit and a multidisciplinary team that participates in clinical trials and is equipped to manage more complex ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, including subarachnoid hemorrhage.
