transient ischemic attacks (TIA). They are warning signs prior to actual
stroke and need to be taken seriously.

MYTH: Getting to a stroke hospital in 4.5 hours will allow the doctors to completely reverse the effects of the stroke.
FACT: tPA only works to completely reverse the stroke 12% of the time.
MYTH: Your doctors have the expertise and therapy protocols to get you recovered.
FACT: Only 10% of stroke patients almost fully recover. There are no publicly available stoke rehab protocols.
MYTH: You can hire the best stroke doctor in the world to get yourself recovered.
FACT: The best stroke doctor still can't beat the previous fact. Your recovery is all up to the work you put in. Your doctor has almost zilch to do with your recovery
