Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 17, 2018--The Learning Corp (TLC) today announced it will support the American Stroke Association (ASA) in raising awareness that stroke is beatable through increased access to rehabilitative care and tools. ASA is the nation’s leader in educating the public on stroke prevention, treatment and recovery.(REALLY? I never use them for any stroke information at all.) TLC’s Constant Therapy mobile app is a digital exercise program for use by clinicians and patients to practice speech, language and cognitive exercises after a brain injury or stroke. The project, the first of its kind between the two organizations, is designed to help the estimated 800,000 people in the United States who suffer a stroke each year to better understand the tools that can help them manage their long-term recovery. Through May 31, 2020, TLC will donate $2.50 per monthly subscription sold and $25.00 per yearly subscription sold to the ASA’s Together to End Stroke® initiative, with a minimum donation of $50,000.
“Stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in America, but with proper education and treatment, including appropriate rehab, stroke patients can maximize their recovery,”(Bullshit, bullshit. We want 100% recovery NOT maximization, that is your fucking tyranny of low expectations!) said Mitch Elkind, M.D., volunteer chairman, American Stroke Association. “We are excited that TLC is an avid supporter of our Together to End Stroke initiative. TLC’s support will help patients manage their recovery and improve their quality of life.”
TLC’s Constant Therapy mobile app is a research-based digital exercise program for use by clinicians and patients to practice speech, language and cognitive exercises after a brain injury or stroke. Patients perform an unlimited number of personalized, evidence-based exercises at home or in the clinic to help them strengthen speaking, reading, writing, math, memory and attention skills. More than 75 million tasks have been completed by Constant Therapy users, and their experience allows the program’s machine learning engine to build new insights and paths to recovery, and new standards for effective stroke treatment.(With NO efficacy percentage it isn't effective!)
“Early and frequent therapy is a vital component to regaining function after a stroke, and research shows that Constant Therapy users practice on average four times more exercises compared to people who receive speech therapy exclusively in a clinic,” said Veera Anantha, Ph.D., TLC’s co-founder and president. “Our collaboration with the esteemed ASA allows us to reach more patients, and work together to end stroke.”
