A STUDENT from Iron Acton has developed a bionic glove to aid stroke recovery.

Kieran Gulliford, 22, has created the lightweight exoskeletal glove as his final project while studying for a BSc in product design technology at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol. The prototype glove, named Neuro Grip, is designed to increase hand grip strength in people who have suffered a stroke, which is said to be around 100,000 people each year in the UK.

The glove is aimed to help those who have retained some muscle activity but struggle with grip.(Wouldn't work for me, the stroke blew out my motor and premotor cortex for the hand.)
