It's plain as day the WSO has no intention of solving stroke to 100% recovery. They've reached for the bottom of the barrel in just raising awareness. They need to be destroyed and run by survivors.
Actually, it is more important to know that everything in stroke is a complete fucking failure and unless YOU get involved and take over all the stroke associations and fix them to actually solve stroke to 100% recovery. When YOU are the 1 in 4 per WHO that has a stroke maybe stroke will finally be treatable(100% recovery). As compared to this fucking lie from World Stroke Day a couple of years ago.

What a lying piece of shit.

Introduction
Every year on October 29, the world unites to observe World Stroke Day, raising awareness about one of the leading causes of death and disability globally.
The 2025 theme — “Every Minute Counts” — reminds us that recognising the early signs of stroke and taking quick action can save lives and reduce long-term disability./
A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. But the good news is — up to 90% of strokes are preventable through awareness, lifestyle changes, and timely medical help.
Did You Know?
Every 2 seconds, someone in the world suffers a stroke — but 80% of them could be prevented.
Stroke is the second leading cause of death globally, yet one of the most preventable with early detection and healthy living.
Awareness truly saves lives — and that’s what World Stroke Day is all about.
What is a Stroke?
A stroke occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is interrupted or reduced, depriving brain tissue of oxygen and nutrients. Within minutes, brain cells begin to die — that’s why early action is crucial.
There are two main types:
- Ischemic Stroke: Caused by a blood clot blocking a brain artery (most common).
- Hemorrhagic Stroke: Caused by a ruptured blood vessel bleeding into the brain.
World Stroke Day 2025 Theme: Every Minute Counts
This year’s campaign, led by the World Stroke Organization (WSO), focuses on the urgent need for stroke awareness and faster response.
The global message: Recognise the signs. Take action. Save lives.
