Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

Thank you for trusting us - National Stroke Association

There is no reason to trust you and no survivor should because you are doing absolutely fucking nothing that helps survivors get recovered.
Comeback trail - Big Fucking Whoopee, Another way to get better at breaking bad news.  Instead of actually solving all the fucking problems in stroke, just tell patients they need to be motivated to recover on their own.
5k runs - lazy awareness crap.
But this is all up to your impression of what is helpful for you. Don't listen to me, I'm stroke addled.
NSA needs millions of dollars to hire researchers to solve problems and I don't even see them trying to do that.

Dear dean,
Thank you for participating
in our inaugural events!

As 2016 comes to a close, I recognize that the National Stroke Association has so much to be thankful for. With more than 6.5 million stroke survivors and many more caregivers and loved ones, the stroke community has vast and growing needs. It is because of your support as a member of our stroke community that we are able to continue our lifesaving work.
Because of you, we launched Comeback Trail this year. Our inaugural 5K run/walks were held in four cities—Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Cincinnati, and on Long Island. More than 700 participants joined us, raising over $170,000 to support the free tools and resources for our stroke community. With your continued support of events like Comeback Trail, we look to be in 10 cities in 2017.
Together, we’re better. Because of you there is increased awareness of lifesaving stroke information, improved quality of life for stroke survivors and caregivers, and we are empowering survivors. With your support, this important work will continue.

Thank you for trusting us to be the voice of the stroke community.

With thanks,
