And in stroke we are making
NO progress at all thanks to our fucking failures of stroke associations.
We need to install stroke survivors as presidents and boards of directors. That is the only way we will accomplish anything in stroke. The existing ones have proven to be failures since they started. Stoke-addled brains can't do any worse.

Dear Friend,
We end this year with extraordinary momentum toward a world without Parkinson's disease and The Michael J. Fox Foundation is leading this pursuit. As we reflect on 2015's progress and promise, I urge you to support MJFF's vital work:
- Propelling treatments toward a cure: The
drug development pipeline is the strongest it's been -- including five
therapies in clinical testing addressing our most promising target to
slow or stop disease progression.
- Helping patients manage symptoms: We're
funding investigations into under-addressed symptoms and working with
researchers to better understand and treat non-motor symptoms to improve
patients' lives today.
- Mobilizing the Parkinson's community:
Patients and families are using our convenient, innovative platforms for
taking part in research and sharing information on life with
Parkinson's.
You have the power to fuel this progress. Your support can help us move more life-changing therapies through the clinic and into patients' hands. As 2015 comes to a close, please
donate today to help us achieve our ultimate goal of a cure.
Best regards,
Todd Sherer, PhD
CEO
P.S. Remember, when you donate now, your gift will be matched -- doubling your impact on critical research. |
