Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

Centre for Neuro Skills Unveils New Website Design to Better Serve Brain Injury Patients and Their Families

Does it say that everything in stroke recovery is a shitshow failure? NO? Then they are lying!

tPA full recovery? Better than 12%? That's a complete failure as survivors would describe it!

rehab full recovery? Better than 10%? That's also a complete failure as survivors would describe it!

Contact me at: oc1dean@gmail.com. We can discuss creating a strategy for 100% recovery!

Centre for Neuro Skills Unveils New Website Design to Better Serve Brain Injury Patients and Their Families

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., June 11, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS), a leader in traumatic brain injury and stroke rehabilitation services, today announced the launch of its completely redesigned website at www.neuroskills.com. The revamped website features an intuitive, user-friendly interface designed to better serve patients, families, healthcare professionals and caregivers seeking information and resources for brain injury rehabilitation. The redesign incorporates the visual elements and messaging from CNS' recent “ReThink Rehab” advertising campaigns, creating a cohesive brand experience across all platforms.

Reimagined Digital Experience

The new site design reflects the organization's commitment to challenging the status quo in brain injury rehabilitation with its powerful message “ReThink Rehab,” capturing the essence of CNS’ mission to reduce disability and maximize independence.

"Our new website is more than just a visual upgrade—it's a reflection of our unwavering belief in the ongoing potential for recovery in brain injury patients," said Ben Ashley, Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications at CNS. "We've created a digital space that embodies our vision while making it easier for those we serve to access the information and support they need."

Key Features of the New Website:

  • Enhanced User Navigation: Simplified menus and intuitive pathways guide visitors to essential information about CNS’ services, patient success stories and educational resources.

  • Patient Journey Showcase: Interactive elements highlight real patient experiences, demonstrating how CNS’ approach challenges the notion of plateauing in brain injury recovery.

  • Resource Hub: Expanded educational materials for patients, families and healthcare providers that support the ongoing journey of brain injury recovery.

  • Responsive Design: Fully optimized experience across all devices, ensuring accessibility for users regardless of how they access the site. This includes the option to translate the entire site into Spanish with just a click and a fully integrated accessibility tool for those who may need specific cognitive or visual assistance.

  • A Curated User Experience: New, dynamic content added to the site now makes it easier for site visitors to find content and stories most relevant to them.

  • Integrated Campaign Elements: The site seamlessly incorporates visuals and messaging from CNS’ recent "ReThink Rehab" initiative, the first advertising campaign in the organization’s 45-year history, reinforcing the powerful narrative that recovery continues beyond conventional expectations with personalized therapies.

About the "Patients Don't Plateau" Philosophy

At the core of the website redesign is CNS’ foundational belief that brain injury recovery is not limited by arbitrary timelines. This philosophy, featured prominently throughout the new site, challenges the conventional narrative that patients will reach a "plateau" in their recovery after a certain period.

"For too long, brain injury patients have been told that their recovery has an endpoint," explained David Harrington, President and CEO of CNS. "Our new website amplifies our message that with the right approach and continued therapeutic innovation, patients can continue making meaningful progress throughout their lives and achieve independence."

CNS, now in its 45th year, was recently named one of Newsweek’s “America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for 2025.” Of all neurorehabilitation providers listed in the healthcare category, CNS is the only one who achieved a 5-star rating.

Centre for Neuro Skills Launches its First Advertising Campaign

Nothing here gives me ANY SENSE OF ABILITY TO DELIVER RECOVERY! No references to research, just marketing blather!

Centre for Neuro Skills Launches its First Advertising Campaign

"Rethink Rehab" aims to raise awareness of the CNS brand and services

BAKERSFIELD, CA / ACCESS Newswire / March 10, 2025 / Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS), a leader in traumatic brain injury and stroke rehabilitation services, has launched the company's first advertising campaign in its 45-year history. The initial campaign, "Rethink Rehab," is aimed at medical decision-makers, prospective patients and their families and will roll out across video digital platforms, social media and out-of-home advertising, bringing a fresh and engaging message to consumers.

Designed to raise awareness of the CNS brand, its services and its impact, the campaign features dramatic, dark visuals that end on an inspiring note of hope for all that are recovering from brain injury or stroke. The campaign's theme, "Rethink Rehab," captures the essence of CNS' mission to reduce disability and maximize independence, reinforcing its commitment to achieve the maximum quality of life for patients through brain injury rehabilitation.

"With 'Rethink Rehab,' we're redefining how we connect with our audience," said Ben Ashley, Associate Vice President Marketing and Communications for CNS. "Through this multichannel campaign, we aim to raise awareness of the CNS brand, our services, and our impact within both professional and cultural contexts. We recognize that our audience is diverse and that our influence extends to medical decisions, countless patients and their families. Our ultimate goal is to increase access to our care by spreading knowledge about CNS, even before it is needed. This campaign embodies our brand's passion for neurorehabilitation and brings it to life in an authentic, compelling way."

CNS employs a unique and individualized treatment approach that is transforming the understanding of effective neurorehabilitation programs for individuals recovering from brain injury and stroke. The creative agency behind the campaign is Moon Rabbit, an independent advertising agency with offices in New York, California and London. Their clients range from boutique to blue-chip and from consumer to biotech.

CNS' partnership with Moon Rabbit has enabled them to highlight this impact through a 30-second spot. The video begins with an inspiring journey of a mother as she perseveres through her brain injury recovery. It concludes on a positive note as she successfully regains control of her daily tasks and family life. Throughout her journey, our experienced and compassionate staff are there to guide her every step of the way.

"‘Neurorehabilitation' is a word only learned after a life gets fundamentally shaken. And yet, too often, the conversation in this space can feel detached & mechanical," said John Tenaglia, Managing Partner, Client Services at Moon Rabbit. "Just as CNS brings humanity to their process, we aim to bring humanity to the conversation around what rehabilitation & recovery really look like."

This short film is just one component of our exciting new multichannel advertising campaign with Moon Rabbit, which includes digital banners, out-of-home promotions, social media placements, radio spots, and published advertorials.

Key highlights of the campaign include:

  • Multi-Platform Reach - The campaign will launch across social media, digital streaming, and radio and unique activations.

  • Engaging Storytelling - The video begins with an inspiring journey of a mother as she perseveres through her brain injury recovery. It concludes on a positive note as she successfully regains control of her daily tasks and family life. Throughout her journey, our experienced and compassionate staff are there to guide her every step of the way.

The campaign officially debuted on February 1, 2025. Consumers can follow the conversation using #[RethinkRehab] and view campaign content at www.neuroskills.com, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or YouTube.

Centre for Neuro Skills Launches the “Neuro Skills Podcast,” Focused on Brain Injury Rehabilitation

I can't imagine this being very useful to survivors until the underling research for 100% recovery is there!  All you're going to get is useless guidelines and blathering about how neuroplasticity and neurogenesis are going to get you recovered. They won't because neither is scientifically repeatable on demand! The only goal in stroke is 100% recovery and this is just using the tyranny of low expectations to imply they know what they are doing.
