Appallingly bad reporting and the National Stroke Association couldn't make sure that it was accurately reported.

Did Miguel Ferrer Have A Stroke?
While
nothing has been officially confirmed, fans are suspecting something
has come up. For one, avid viewers of the investigative American TV
series claim that Ferrer’s voice obviously changed over the past few
episodes. They said that they could hardly understand the words coming
out of Ferrer’s mouth too.
According to the National Stroke Association, the
condition is called Aphasia. It confirmed that it is common to have
communication difficulties after a cardiac arrest. Why? Because during a
heart attack, clogged or burst arteries of the brain interrupt blood
flow, causing brain cells to die. When brain cells die, the normal
functioning of the body parts they control is severely affected too.
On
the other hand, Ferrer’s father, Jose (an Academy award winner), died
due to colon cancer many years before. Is the actor suffering the same
illness? Or, at least, something else related to cancer?
As of now, none of the show’s management or even Ferrer’s team has confirmed the theories about the hereditary sickness.

Did Miguel Ferrer Have A Stroke: Is he leaving the show?
NCIS Los Angeles star, LL Cool J, was quoted in a Sports Rageous report late in October this year. Sadly, he confirmed “somebody’s got to die” in the show. The only question now is who? As per the Morning Ledger, the show’s management immediately considered Ferrer and fellow cast member Daniela Ruah as options.Ruah, recently, has been noticeably absent from the NCIS Los Angeles set.
Various media outlets stated that she has been on maternity leave for
quite some time now. Ferrer, meanwhile, projects an imminent risk
regarding his current health condition.
Meanwhile, the Ecumenical News fuelled
another possible reason for Ferrer’s rumored exit. According to it, the
actor could be starring in another series. Ferrer was previously seen
in the trailer of Twin Peaks, a show where he previously appeared in.
Use the labels in the right column to find what you want. Or you can go thru them one by one, there are only 28,983 posts. Searching is done in the search box in upper left corner. I blog on anything to do with stroke.DO NOT DO ANYTHING SUGGESTED HERE AS I AM NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED, YOUR DOCTOR IS, LISTEN TO THEM. BUT I BET THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET YOU 100% RECOVERED. I DON'T EITHER, BUT HAVE PLENTY OF QUESTIONS FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO ANSWER.
Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.
What this blog is for:
My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.
