Changing stroke rehab and research worldwide now.Time is Brain! trillions and trillions of neurons that DIE each day because there are NO effective hyperacute therapies besides tPA(only 12% effective). I have 523 posts on hyperacute therapy, enough for researchers to spend decades proving them out. These are my personal ideas and blog on stroke rehabilitation and stroke research. Do not attempt any of these without checking with your medical provider. Unless you join me in agitating, when you need these therapies they won't be there.

What this blog is for:

My blog is not to help survivors recover, it is to have the 10 million yearly stroke survivors light fires underneath their doctors, stroke hospitals and stroke researchers to get stroke solved. 100% recovery. The stroke medical world is completely failing at that goal, they don't even have it as a goal. Shortly after getting out of the hospital and getting NO information on the process or protocols of stroke rehabilitation and recovery I started searching on the internet and found that no other survivor received useful information. This is an attempt to cover all stroke rehabilitation information that should be readily available to survivors so they can talk with informed knowledge to their medical staff. It lays out what needs to be done to get stroke survivors closer to 100% recovery. It's quite disgusting that this information is not available from every stroke association and doctors group.

Study links nut consumption to better brain health markers

Exactly what is your doctors' protocol on nuts?

You NEED SPECIFICS, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY?

Your incompetent? doctor failed to create protocols from all this earlier research, right?

Study links nut consumption to better brain health markers

Study links nut consumption to better brain health markers

New study findings: Framingham Heart Study data show higher nut intake tied to better memory and thinking scores, especially in less active or lower-quality diet groups.

Additional brain links: Nut consumption correlated with larger brain volume in active people and a growth factor for blood vessels in stroke survivors.

Caution advised: Researchers stress results are observational and do not prove nuts prevent cognitive decline, but findings may guide future dietary research.

Framingham Heart Study analysis links higher nut consumption to better cognitive test scores

An analysis of data from 1,771 participants in the Framingham Heart Study found that individuals who consumed more nuts achieved higher scores on tests measuring memory, processing speed, and reasoning. This association remained significant after adjusting for variables such as age, education, smoking status, exercise habits, and overall diet quality.

Higher nut intake linked to larger total brain volume in physically active participants

The study found that participants who were the most physically active and consumed higher amounts of nuts had larger total brain volumes. This association was observed without establishing causation, indicating a potential relationship between nut consumption and brain structure in active individuals.

Higher nut intake associated with increased vascular endothelial growth factor levels in stroke survivors

Among stroke survivors, higher nut consumption was linked to elevated blood levels of vascular endothelial growth factor. This protein is known to promote the growth of new blood vessels, suggesting a possible mechanism for supporting brain recovery after stroke.

Observational nature of nut consumption and cognitive health study

Researchers stated that the study linking nut consumption to cognitive health outcomes is based on observational data. They emphasized that such data cannot confirm a direct causal relationship between eating nuts and improved cognitive health or prevention of cognitive decline.

Nutrition experts' guidance on nut consumption for health benefits

Nutrition experts have previously advised that the health benefits of nuts are most likely achieved through consistent, moderate consumption as part of a broader healthy diet. They caution that occasional nut consumption is less likely to produce significant benefits.
