This is the whole problem in stroke enumerated in one word; 'care'; NOT RECOVERY!
Our non-existent stroke leadership should be demanding RECOVERY NOT 'CARE'!
My god, anyone in the business world would be fired immediately for managing or caring about something rather than delivering RESULTS. And this is why this is a complete fucking failure! This does nothing to guarantee recovery for survivors!
If your stroke medical 'professional'/hospital is touting 'care' it means they are a failure because they are delivering 'care'; NOT RECOVERY! I would never go to a failed hospital! Anytime I see the word 'care' associated with a stroke hospital; I immediately think fucking failure!
YOU have to get involved and change this failure mindset of 'care' to 100% RECOVERY! Survivors want RECOVERY, NOT 'CARE'!
I see nothing here that states going for 100% recovery! You need to create EXACT PROTOCOLS FOR THAT!
ASK SURVIVORS WHAT THEY WANT, THEY'LL NEVER RESPOND 'CARE'! This tyranny of low expectations has to be completely rooted out of any stroke conversation! I wouldn't go there because of such incompetency as not having 100% recovery protocols!
RECOVERY IS THE ONLY GOAL IN STROKE!
GET THERE!
Riyadh hospital earns top global stroke care certification
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (MNTV) — King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSHRC) in Riyadh has received the Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification from the American Heart Association and the Middle East and North Africa Stroke Organization.
The recognition places the hospital among a select group of leading medical institutions worldwide in advanced stroke care(NOT REOVERY!), according to Arab News.
The certification reflects the hospital’s capacity to deliver fully integrated stroke services, including rapid diagnosis, advanced interventional procedures and continuous rehabilitation programs, contributing to higher survival rates and fewer complications, KFSHRC said in a statement.
The hospital has further enhanced its emergency response through the launch of the region’s first Mobile Stroke Unit, equipped with a CT scanner and a specialized medical team capable of initiating diagnosis and treatment at patients’ locations within minutes, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The mobile unit has played a key role in saving lives through early intervention and was deployed extensively during the Hajj season, the report said.
KFSHRC said the achievement adds to its growing list of international recognitions and reflects its commitment to improving healthcare quality, strengthening national medical expertise, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
In 2025, the hospital ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa and 15th globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers.
It also holds the highest-valued healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the region, according to Brand Finance 2025, and has been listed by Newsweek among the World’s Best Hospitals 2025, World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2026 and World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026.
